It's our newest line of dolls, fashions, and accessories, each designed by award-winning artist Robert Tonner, and unlike anything you've ever seen before - a world where fashion collides with technology - and the doll world will never again be the same.

Steampunk - a sub-genre of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s. Steampunk involves a setting where steam power is still widely used - usually Victorian era Britain or "Wild West"-era United States - that incorporates elements of either science fiction or fantasy. - from Wikipedia

The Story

During the Great War, when the days turned dark and stifling hot as life on the planet began to die, the remnants of the human population began to re-emerge. And the one bright spot was Imperium Park - situated within the enlightened city of the New Britain, and home to Theodora Curiosity Bennett and her brother Phineas Jules.

Theodora and Phineas live with their Uncle, Professor Kingsley Avery Knightsblood. A brilliant scientist, Professor Knightsblood took in his niece and nephew after their parents were killed in a skirmish with a Beastealiax patrol when the children were six and eight. Both Theodora and Phineas adore their uncle.

Beatrice Watkins is the beautiful assistant to the Professor, and both children think she'd be a great match with their uncle. However, Beatrice is in love with Captain Negal Willow Dubbits, the head of the New Britain Protection Corps. Although the Professor feels the same, he has never let Beatrice know for fear that his enemies could use her against him.

Treasure is an automaton. She is one of the few relics to survive the Great War. Treasure was built with a clockwork mechanism and although automatons are not rare in the New Britain (they are generally used as house servants), Treasure is special. Extremely beautiful and fragile, she holds within her all of the old knowledge that was supposedly lost during the time before. Professor Knightsblood's life work is to unravel Treasure's secrets.

Just as the Professor is beginning to understand Treasure, she is stolen by the Beastealiax. Theodora and Phineas hold a secret to where she might be - but can they save her before she's destroyed? It will take all of their training and ingenuity to get her back.
